Longest Glaciers

Basically a glacier is a slow moving mass of ice and what better place to find a slow moving mass of ice than the frozen wastelands in Antarctica.

The world's longest glacier is the Lambert-Fisher glacier at an icy 320 miles in length and a not-so-hot 25 miles in width.

The Lambert-Fisher glacier is a speed demon as far as slow moving masses of ice go, moving over a half mile each year.

Deep sea trenches

Any long, narrow, steep-sided depression in the ocean bottom in which maximum oceanic depths (approximately 7,300 to more than 11,000 m [24,000 to 36,000 feet]) occur. The deepest known depression of this kind is the Mariana Trench, which lies east of the Mariana Islands in the western North Pacific Ocean.The Mariana Trench is located in the Pacific Ocean, just east of the 14 Mariana Islands (11"21' North latitude and 142" 12' East longitude ) near Japan. As you probably already know, it is the deepest part of the earth's oceans, and the deepest location of the earth itself. It was created by ocean-to-ocean subduction, a phenomena in which a plate topped by oceanic crust is subducted beneath another plate topped by oceanic crust.

Winter Vacations

Coool! My winter vacations have started and I have decided to go to malls, Allahabad, and to watch movie "Ghajini". Today I am going to meet C Didi and will go to R@ve 3 with her. Vi is not coming because some glass workers are coming to fit the glass .

Working Hard

Tomorrow is my annual concert that's why the teachers are making us to work hard and hard. Even today is Christmas Day , my school is opened and since morning we practicing . When the buses reached the school to take us, the teachers said that the Qawali children will stay back and we practice for Qawali at sun,s heat.

Bad Time

V Didi and I are not feeling well. When I came from the school I felt weak. I asked my servant whether I have fever or not and she said yes. Then I went to change my dress where I came to know from my Didi that even she is suffering from fever. Then I went to sleep.

Science project

Now days I am feeling boring that's why I have decided to make a science project. Finally I started making a motorboat which will run by wind energy. What I have done is that I have taken two aluminum trays and at the end I have made two holes in which two straws are going at the end of straws .I have fitted two balloons and on other side I have put two rubber band to close it. When I need to make the boat run I will take out the rubber band and it will run because of wind energy.

Hard work for 5 days

My annual function is coming closer that,s why all the study classes have been changed into pratice classes. Before the juice break we have to practice for quoir. After juice break we have to practice for dance and "Qawali" . After lunch for two periods we can study(not compulsary ). And then we have to practice for group singing.

Birthday Party

Today I am very glad because my eldest sister has come from Vellore to Kanpur because of her winter vacations. Today there was birthday of one of my best friend Preyanshu . He studies in class 8th and lives just in front of my house.His birthday party was at 7 pm where we ate roti and chola and played many games. While going I gave him birthday bomb.

Study

Because of my annual function I am not able to study , practices are going. So today in spite of going for practices I completed my work of Maths and in sports I went to mam and said that I was completing my work that,s why I did not come in the practice so mam said OK. Then when I came from my school I completed my computer work.

Preparing For Annaul Day

Now days I am very busy because the annaul function of my school is going to be on 27th of Dec , and I have participated in goa dance, play(freedom struggle),group singing and Jokes. The most bad thing is that I have missed the periods and I am not able to cover up the cource because the practice go from 11am to 4 pm. But I am enjoying goa dance and group singing.
